Our fully-guided small group tours & day trips are run in comfortable minibuses & led by our passionate tour guides. They love bringing the journey to life, sharing their incredible stories & rich background knowledge, keeping all our guests thoroughly entertained.

MEET OUR TEAM
We are a small family team led by Tama (Ngāti Maniapoto) & Gina (Te Atiawa and Ngāti Mutunga) Blackburn. Our passion is for te ao māori and conservation.
The Nau Mai team are professional, fully licensed, fun and passionate tour guides. They have a deep knowledge of Taranaki, love their job and want to share with you the beauty and magic of our home.
Our mission at Nau Mai Tours is to create a pathway for people to be able to connect in authentic and meaningful ways with māori culture and learn about what makes Taranaki special.
Because we love what we do, we want this enthusiasm to catch on with each and every person who joins our team on tour.

We use comfortable, four-wheel drive vehicles. Our vehicles come with heaps of leg room, phone charging stations, WiFi access point, bluetooth system so you can connect your music and a full PA system so you don’t miss anything. Our vehicles seat 7 people, with larger vehicles available on request (up to 20 seater).
